- 87% of LGBT adults are likely to consider a brand that is known to provide equal work place benefits for all employees;
- 71% of LGBT adults are likely to remain loyal to a brand they believe to be supportive of the GLBT community, even when less-friendly companies may offer lower prices or be more convenient;
- 47% of LGBT adults are more likely to consider purchasing from a company that has advertisements tailored to a gay audience;
- On average, LGBT households shop more frequently and spend more per visit (14% more frequently and $1,753 more annually, respectively);
- Together, gay and lesbian households spend an average of 55% more on pet care than the average American household;
- Pet Care is the number one category that female same-sex households spend money on and it is the sixth category for male same-sex households;
- LGBT households spend an average of 47% more on alcohol than the average American household.
